Anxiety, The Salesperson

Anxiety can be debilitating to live with, but it doesn't have to be that way forever.

Anxiety is a master manipulator, an artist of deception, a liar, an exaggerator, a thief of time and a meaningful life.

It’s a salesperson that curates stories, ones that purposefully omit the most important and relevant information, hoping you’ll overlook the gaps and get swept away by its loud, obnoxious distractions embedded in fear.
It’s mighty, or so it wishes you to believe.

But anxiety is lacking something super important: truth.
Anxiety thrives on half-truths, assumptions, and worst-case scenarios, spinning narratives so compelling that they feel like undeniable facts. But when we step back, challenge its stories, and sit with discomfort instead of reacting, we begin to see anxiety for what it really is: persistent, yes, but not all-knowing.

You are not required to take anxiety at its word. You can observe it, question it, and choose to move forward despite its noise. Because while anxiety may shout, your values, your goals, and your true self have the final say.
Every day, I continue to pursue my truth in the face of anxiety, refusing to let fear dictate my life. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. And it’s my life’s mission to help others do the same, to recognize anxiety’s distortions, break free from its grip, and step into a life led by meaning, not fear.

No win is too small, so for anyone on this same journey, I encourage you to do something, anything, each day that keeps anxiety on it's toes! Your future self will thank you.
